‘Swa is a dynamic actor and vocalist whose work reflects a lifelong dedication to music and cross-cultural performance. Her musical journey began at age four with a gospel choir solo, followed by studies in piano and violin at ten and songwriting by thirteen.
By sixteen, ’Swa began formal training in opera, later expanding into jazz, country, rock, and world music at nineteen. Guitar studies followed at twenty-two, along with a growing passion for vocal instruction, leading to teaching experience by age twenty-four. Her vocal range and stylistic versatility allow her to move fluidly between classical and contemporary genres.
A multilingual vocalist, ’Swa performs in Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, German, Japanese, and Arabic, and is actively developing expertise in Arabic music, including quarter-tonal techniques. Whether performing solo or collaborating with other artists, ‘Swa is driven to create immersive musical experiences that energize and create a powerful connection with every audience.
