I am one of the few, younger generations of working pedal steel guitarists in the state of Michigan. I typically play country, singer-songwriter, jazz, rock, and other styles of music on this instrument. I also perform on six string guitar which include festival dates, touring shows, pit orchestra jobs, and more. In addition to improvising, I also can read and sightread music.
Biography
I studied classical guitar under Nelson Amos at Eastern Michigan from 2011-2016 and freelance full time as a guitarist and pedal steel guitarist since graduating. I specialize in studio recording, live performance, touring shows, and offer private lessons. I’ve also written a published article on the work of Django Reinhardt as well as transcribe music for clients.
