Jill Opal Oliver is an international recording artist, vocalist, musician, and performer from Detroit, Michigan. A graduate of Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance, she has performed across Europe and released multiple albums spanning R&B, jazz, and gospel. Her discography includes Fantasies, Jazzy Nights, Beautiful Visions, and Love & Life, featuring the singles “Make You Mine” and “Heaven Only Knows.” She is currently working on two upcoming releases—VIBEZ and Jill Opal Merry Christmas.

Jill Opal Oliver is an international performer, recording artist, songwriter, producer, and musician whose versatile work spans Classical, Jazz, R&B, Gospel, Hip Hop, Techno, and Soft Rock. A Detroit native, she holds a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Eastern Michigan University.
Jill’s elite classical training includes attending the International Lyric Academy of Rome & Viterbo in Italy, where she starred as Marcelina in The Marriage of Figaro. She also performed in Opera Grand Rapids’ production of Porgy and Bess at the DeVos Performance Hall, and has graced the legendary stage of Carnegie Hall in New York City.

- Historic Jazz & Local Venues: Baker’s Keyboard Lounge (the world’s oldest operating jazz club), The Fox Theatre, The Fillmore, The Roostertail, TV Lounge, and the St. Regis Hotel “Jazz Cafe.”
- High-Profile Events: Performed for Martha Reeves’ Birthday Bash, shared the stage as a guest singer with Bettye LaVette at the LockerRoom Lounge, and performed a jazz duet with Ortheia Barnes-Kennerly at the Charles H. Wright Museum.
- Anthems & Tributes: Selected as one of four vocalists for the Whitney Houston Tribute Concert at the Sparkle Red Carpet Premiere (Royal Oak Emagine Theater). She has also performed the National Anthem and Black National Anthem for the University of Phoenix Commencement at Cobo Hall and the Montford Point Detachment Marine Corps.

Jill’s deep roots in the arts began as an alumna of the Mosaic Youth Theatre of Detroit, where she was selected to perform as a U.S. Representative at the World Festival of Children’s Theatre in London and Copenhagen.

- 2001: Awarded the MSVMA High School SAAA State Honors Award.
