I am an experienced, professional Bass Player with a passion for Blues, Latin, Jazz, Rock, Funk, Soul, and Motown. I perform as as many as 300 shows a year with the Chris Canas Band. I am fully equipped and available to work and travel anywhere in the Metro-Detroit and southeast Michigan area. I am also the founder of DC’s LEDs, creator of custom LED guitar and instrument straps, LED instrument accessories, and the LED doggie vest.

Biography
When I was young I wanted to learn to play the guitar – mostly because my father played guitar in a band and I wanted to be able to hang out with him. But learning to play the guitar was a struggle because my fingers could not bend far enough to make cords. My father suggested I try the bass guitar. So I studied the bass day and night until I was good enough to play in my father’s band. Then the time came – I finally got a chance to play in my father’s band. I was very excited for this opportunity, but after the gig, my dad made me go home instead of letting me hang out with him and the rest of the band. I very sad about that, but I continued to study and play the bass and then I started to get lot of calls from people who wanted me to play in their bands. The rest is history!
