I am a native to Detroit who has been playing saxophone for over 10 years. I am a professional musician and bandleader as well as a private lesson instructor. I offer both solo saxophone as well as performances with my quartet. I also offer private saxophone lessons to all ages and experience levels.

Biography

Erinn Alexis is a Detroit native who was born into a musical family. Growing up surrounded by Jazz, Motown and Gospel, Erinn knew she was a musician from an early age. Saxophone being her first love, she began playing in high school and was surrounded by mentors such as Andrew Bishop, Marcus Belgrave, and Russell Miller. Erinn continued her studies at Wayne State University where she received her Bachelor’s in Music Performance. Erinn Alexis’ sound carries elements of soul and joy inspired by artists such as Maceo Parker, The Clark Sisters, and Cannonball Adderly. She has shared stages with artists such as Joan Belgrave, Jessica Care Moore, and Dee Dee Bridgewater as a member of the Dee Dee Bridgewater Big Band in addition to leading her own ensembles. Erinn Alexis aims to spread joy worldwide through the healing power of music. Her passion to bring cheer to others and uplift hearts resounds in her unique voice.
